BEA Systems – recently acquired by Oracle – produce enterprise-wide application infrastructure solutions. The Source is an internal e-newsletter to an international employee base distributed on a fortnightly basis. Zone won the pitch to re-design this key employee communication tool.

The Challenge

• To update the look, feel and navigation of their e-newsletter – evolution rather than revolution

• To provide ongoing user reporting and feedback

Overview

The publication is a key internal communication tool for Europe. Over several issues, Zone made changes to the look and feel and added a header bar with an attention grabbing image and headline. Zone provided detailed readership data so that identified non-readers could be encouraged to read, and popular news items identified.
