Zone’s marketing campaign for Bayer Animal Health's leading flea and worm treatment for cats and dogs, Advocate, has been awarded a Bayer Animal Health Marketing Excellence award. The award is an internal Bayer award contested by all Bayer Animal Health agencies and their respective campaigns worldwide.

Advocate is a comprehensive flea, worm and mite treatment for dogs and cats. The campaign, aimed at veterinary surgeons to promote Advocate’s new claim to be the only product licensed for the treatment of the lungworm Angiostrongylus vasorum (AV), highlighted the ease with which AV can be transmitted and the severity of the lungworm, which can be fatal in dogs.

This is the second award in as many years for Zone, founded in 2006, which last year received a Starpack Award, which recognises creativity across the packaging supply chain.

Robin Horrex, Zone's managing director, comments “Awards are important to us. They tell us our work is effective and helps attract new clients and ambitious staff.”
